Special Warfare Operator Second Class (SO2)(abbreviated as AG) is a United States Navy occupational rating.

Special Warfare Operators (SO) perform maritime and land-based Special Operations in urban, desert, jungle, artic, and mountain environments. Duties include combat diving, paradrop operations, small boat operations, tactical ground mobility, small arms and crew-served weapons, fast roping, rappelling, explosives, communications, trauma care, intelligence gathering and interpretation, and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Explosive (CBRNE) defense measures.
